Tanzania has 16 national parks, 29 game reserves, 40 controlled conservation areas, and marine parks. Some of the attractions of Tanzania include:

  • Arusha National Park is a beautiful and diverse park in northern Tanzania, near the city of Arusha. The park is home to many wildlife species, including the world’s largest population of giraffes, as well as buffaloes, zebras, elephants, monkeys, flamingos, and more. 
  • Lake Manyara is a lake located in the Arusha and Manyara Regions of Tanzania. It is the seventh-largest lake in the country by surface area, covering about 470 square kilometers. The lake is famous for its diverse wildlife, especially its large population of flamingos and other water birds. It is also home to many mammals, such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, and the rare tree-climbing lions.
  • Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa and one of the Seven Summits of the world.
  • Lake Tanganyika, the second deepest lake in the world and home to many endemic species of fish.
  • Serengeti National Park, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and other animals migrate annually in a spectacular phenomenon known as the Great Migration.
  • Zanzibar, an island off the coast of Tanzania that has a history of spice trade, slave trade, and Swahili culture. It is also famous for its white sandy beaches and coral reefs.
  • Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that contains the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and hosts a variety of wildlife, including the endangered black rhinoceros.
  • Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania’s Manyara Region. It is famous for its large herds of elephants and baobab trees. Enjoying the scenic views of the lake, the rift valley escarpment, and the nearby mountains of Meru and Kilimanjaro

Itinerary

 Day 1 :  Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha

Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met and after a pre safari briefing and introductions you will be transferred to your city hotel in Arusha for overnight at the Hotel booked on bed and breakfast basis.


Day 2 :  Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast you will depart with lunch boxes to Lake Manyara National Park, upon arrival at the park you will embark on mid-morning gamedrives and later have picnic lunch at a spot in the park. Later you will proceed with the afternoon gamedrives Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of 330sq km and two-thirds of the park is covered by Lake Manyara. The main attractions are the superb bird life, the tree climbing lions, hippos, elephants. Lake Manyara hosts thousands of flamingos as well as a diversity of other bird life. Dinner and overnight booked on full board.


Day 3 :  Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart Lake Manyara National Park for Serengeti National Park., you will have picnic lunch will be served on the way. After park regularities at the Naabi gate, you will proceed with gamedrives in to the park. Serengeti is also famous for its lions, cheetahs, large herds of Zebras, herds of giraffes, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, elands, impalas, warthogs, and also rich in bird life. Meals and overnight booked on full board basis.


Day 4 : Serengeti National Park 

After breakfast you will depart with picnic boxes for a full day gamedrive, later at dusk you will return back to the camp for dinner and overnight booked on full board.


Day 5   Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Karats   

Breakfast and depart with picnic lunch boxes for Ngorongoro conservation area Descend down the crater rim The Ngorongoro Crater is just one part of a larger area of interrelated ecosystems consisting of the crater highlands (to which the Ngorongoro Crater belongs) together with larger stretches of plains bush and woodland. Ngorongoro conservation area covers an area of about 8300 sq km. Near its centre is the Olduvai Gorge where many fossils have been earthed. Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best known wildlife – viewing areas. The crater is about 20kms wide and it is one of the largest calderas in the world. Within its walls is a variety of animals and vegetation, including grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, a fresh water lake and rich wildlife. The wildlife found includes lions, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, zebra reed bucks. Dinner and overnight on FB


 Day 6 : Ngorongoro Conservation Area (karatu) – Tarangire National Park 

After a sumptuous breakfast, you will proceed with picnic boxes to Tarangire National Park, upon arrival at the park you will proceed with gamedrives and later have picnic lunch within the park. You will proceed with gamedrive and later arrive at the camp, Dinner and overnight booked on full board basis


DAY 7 : Tarangire National Park – Kilimanjaro Airport

Breakfast and spend the morning at leisure. Later depart for Arusha, whereby upon arrival you will transferred to the Kilimanjaro airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your flight out.
