Anthem of the Seas Cruise - Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from VANCOUVER , BRITISH COLUMBIA
Departure: 6:00 PM

Your Alaska adventure begins in Vancouver. You'll board Anthem of the Seas, settle into your cabin and have the evening to explore the ship.

Recommended: Arrive in Vancouver at least one day before the cruise so you aren't dependent on same-day flights.

Day 2 : Scenic Cruising

A full day cruising north towards Alaska.This is a great opportunity to enjoy the ship's facilities, including BELOW

Day 3 : ketchikan, Alaska

Ketchikan is known as the "Salmon Capital of the World" and is famous for its dramatic scenery, Native Alaskan heritage and colourful waterfront.

The ship docks at Ward Cove, which is the cruise facility outside central Ketchikan.

You have approximately 11 hours in port, giving you plenty of time for a substantial excursion

Day 4 : ICY STRAIGHT POINT , Alaska

This is one of the more unusual stops on the itinerary.

Icy Strait Point is located near Hoonah, in an area known for wilderness, forests and wildlife. The late arrival means you have the morning aboard the ship before heading ashore.

The ship remains here until 9:00 PM, giving you an opportunity to experience the destination into the evening.

Day 5 : Sitika, Alaska

Sitka offers a different side of Alaska, with strong Russian and Tlingit cultural influences.

• St. Michael's Cathedral
• Russian Bishop's House
• Wildlife excursions
• Sea kayaking
• Coastal sightseeing

You have around 9 hours ashore, so there is reasonable time for a morning excursion followed by some independent sightseeing.

DAY 6 : SKAGWAY, Alaska

Skagway is one of the most historic stops on the Alaska itinerary.

It was a major gateway during the Klondike Gold Rush and today retains much of its historic character.

One of the best excursions:

White Pass & Yukon Route Railway

The historic railway climbs from Skagway towards the White Pass summit, passing spectacular mountain scenery.

You have approximately 9 hours in Skagway.

DAY 7 : hubbard glacier scenic cruising , Alaska

This is arguably the scenic highlight of the cruise.

There is no conventional port stop. Instead, Anthem of the Seas cruises towards Hubbard Glacier, giving passengers the opportunity to see one of Alaska's spectacular tidewater glaciers from the ship.

Royal Caribbean lists scenic sightseeing from approximately 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

DAY 8 : hubbard glacier scenic cruising , Alaska

The cruise officially ends in Seward at approximately 5:00 AM.

From here you can continue your Alaska holiday by land.
