Dhayah Fort

The Day stronghold, also known as Dhayah Fort in English, is an important historical site in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Its original

 construction dates back to the middle of the sixteenth century, and it was constructed on a hilltop a short distance to the north of the city centre.


Al Hamra Village

Many of the old buildings and ruins dating back to the fourteenth century AD have been discovered in the village of Al Hamra, in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah; the reason for calling the site the name to the idea that this settlement contains abandoned buildings, inhabited by the Jinn.


The National Museum

One of Ras Al Khaimah's most recognisable landmarks, the National Museum (also known simply as "The Museum"), is housed in a historic building dating back to the early 20th century and housing a variety of artefacts from the region's past, such as stone blocks, letters, and documents that were traded

between Great Britain and the rulers of the area.


Wadi Shawka

Wadi Shawka is a popular place to go hiking in Ras-al-Khaimah, and it is considered an exploration hike since it offers so much in one place: off-road drives, pool dips, natural springs, vegetation, and mountains. The Shawka trail is worth a visit because of its challenge and the stunning scenery it offers in the 

surrounding mountains. Wadi Shawka, located just 92 kilometres from Dubai, has proven to be one of the most popular hiking, camping, and picnic spots.

Best Time to Visit

The great thing about a Ras Al Khaimah holiday is that you don't have to go during a certain time. It has a subtropical climate and nice weather all year round. This means that visitors can get away anytime however the best time to go.is October to May due to the less warm weather, visiting  between June and September is becoming very popular amongst tourists as there are fewer tourists and prices are lower but temperatures are higher.
