Depart from your hotel in a private chauffeur-driven vehicle, and drive towards the south to Trou Aux Cerfs volcano crater which is found in Curepipe. From the crater, you can have a 360-degree view of the town of Curepipe, its suburbs and the coastal plains stretching towards the distant horizon. You will then proceed to Grand Bassin, a natural lake resting on an extinct volcano. Grand Bassin is considered by Hindu devotees to be an extension of the sacred Ganges River in India, and is a place of worship for the Hindus in Mauritius. After Grand Bassin proceed to Black River Gorges.
The national park is home to an amazing collection of indigenous plants and birds. After our stop at Black River Gorges, you will proceed to Rhumerie de Chamarel for a visit and lunch (optional). After lunch proceed to Chamarel seven couloured earth. The undulating lands are a kaleidoscope of colours, ranging from green, purple, blue, red, yellow, ochre and brown, which geologists believe to be the result of weathering of volcanic rocks. After the Visit of Chamarel Coloured Earth we drive you back to your hotel.
