Swim and snorkel in Shark’s Bay

At a 20-minute drive north of Naama Bay, you can walk right into the shallow sea and spot fish close to the shore of Shark’s Bay. Many of the hotels perched along its sandy strip also feature floating jetties, giving you an excellent view and making it even easier for you to get into the water, up close to Nemo and his mates. Don’t let the name scare you away, though! The bay isn’t a hub for sharks, making it unlikely you come face to face with one. However, you will get to see a number of beautiful fish, including stingrays, parrotfish, and pufferfish.

Haggle your way through Bedouin Bazaars

Discover Egyptian tradition by visiting the Old Market.  It’s a great place to spend the evening, roaming the alleys full of stalls and shops selling jewellery, leather goods, pottery slippers, and glass perfume bottles. This market is more traditional and much cheaper than the shopping scene at Naama Bay. However, do not forget to haggle with the shopkeepers here to get the best deals! Fuel yourself during your visit by enjoying some of the delicious local cuisines. You will also find a number of local coffee shops where you can enjoy shisha with friends and savour some top-notch Egyptian coffee.
